Sap & Exchange
Hi all,My company have deployed SAP some months ago. I have installed Exchange 2007 SP1 and I configured my smarthost to send all email to my mail provider. Everything is working fine except when a destination mail is wrong, or when mailbox does not exist on destination. I am not receiving any kind of NDR saying nothing. So I can not be sure if a mail has arrived fine to destination. How do I have to configure my SAP and Exchange to receive NDR's.Thanks a lot!!edgee

Only certain DSNs are sent by default, but this can be configured in Exchange 2007 by opening the EMC and going to Organization Configuration --> Hub Transport --> Global Settings --> Transport Setting Properties --> Message Delivery.
You can also check your message tracking logs to see what DSN code was thrown and then add that to this list so that you see them next time.Sr. Exchange Engineer - Constellation Energy

If you mean that NDR can be received but not the information in them, please see KB 948923
If you mean that NDR can’t be received at all, the thing you need to confirm is, which side is responsible to generate the NDR? If the destination has accepted the mail but failed to deliver, does the mail system of destination allow sending the NDR? If they use exchange 2007 as well, the NDR can be disabled by unchecking the “Allow non-delivery reports” option

Does this happens to all domains when mailbox does not exists there. make sure you have enabled the DSN as stated by Aaron.Vinod
