Hi we have a stable 2003 AD and Exchange 2003 system, however the Exchange schema extensions (well, the Exchange-related details in a user's details) are only visible on the Exchange box so adding new users has to be performed on that machine rather than the DC, with a quick trip to the DC as well to ensure that a user folder is set up to hold the roaming profile. Not exactly a pain, so we've lived with it. I'm concerned thoughthat it might come back to haunt us if we decide to move to Exchange 2007 (or later ...). I have a feeling that one or both of the ForestPrep / DomainPrep were run from the (then) new Exchange box, rather than the DC. As it's a live system, I'm hesitant to re-run either of these from the DC for fear of it overwriting the schema with empty values. Is there any way I can encorage our DC to show the extra details?
