Search in Outlook does not show the last emails

Hello,

I have been aware of that our mail search does not show the lates emails. I have to manually scroll down to find the emails from this year. All emails from last year show up fine when doing a search in Outlook.

This problem happens in Citrix aswell as in webmail.

Apperantly the search works for some poeple, but myself and a test user have this problem.

Do you guys have any ide what could cause this?

Must there be some settings done on the different mailbox databases?

Hi,

You mentioned mailbox databases, I think you are all using Exchange Accounts in Outlook?

What concerns me is that the issue also occurs in webmail, which I think should be OWA for Exchange, then you probably will need to rebuild the Full-Text Index Catalog on Exchange, take Exchange 2007 for example:

You can choose to rebuild the Full-Text Index Catalog using the ResetSearchIndex.ps1 Script or manually, it depends on you. :)

If the issue still exists on OWA after you rebuild the Full-Text Index Catalog, I think the issue is at the Exchange level, we need to post the question in Exchange forum:
