Security Group Question
Is there a way to make a security group automatically send a response when it is sent an email? We have a security group that historically has been accessible by all employees. But now we'd like to limit to just IS employees, but there are some non-IS employees that have this email address. Right now it is set up to only except mail from ALL-IMS. When a non-IS employee sends mail to it it just bounces back saying undeliverable. Can we make it say something customized? Do the custom attributes located in the properties of the group do anythign like that? Any other ideas?
Thank you!
Lisa

Unfortunately, no. You can not customize that message. Doesn't it at least say something to the effect that they do not have permission to send to that address?

Funny, I was only thinking about this today
If you use Exchange 2007 you can, with the aid of transport rules and customizing the NDR look at the link below.

Of course. Let's not forget that Exch 2007 is still in beta and it is important not to blur that line between what she is doing in production and what you *can* do in the lab.

Quite right, it is some times easy to forget when you have it in production :)
