Hi, I'm having a problem setting up SendAs permissions in exchange 2007. i have tried configuring the permissions using the Shell : 1. Add-MailboxPermission alt_user user main_user accessright fullaccess inheritanceType all; 2. Add-ADPermission main_user user alt_user AccessRights extendedright ExtendedRight send-as; I tried from Active Directory, and also from the Exchagne Managment Consol still doesn't work. i always get the following message: You are not allowed to send this message because you are trying to send on behalf of another sender without permission to do so. Please verify that you are sending on behalf of the correct sender, or ask your system administrator to help you get the required permission. I want the SendAs option to work and not the Send on Behalf, i have exchange 2007 SP1. Thanks!

Guys, it's resolved now, all i did is that i rebooted the machine i was running my outlook from! Or it could be that is was just taking time to apply the permissions. Hope this helps someone
