Send Auto Welcome Message
Dear Allwe are running exchange 2007 servers & outlook client 2003/2007 in our environment. I'm looking for a way to sendan automatic email to a newly hired employees. (i.e. when I created a user account and mailbox, exchange server should send a welcome message to this new mailbox. so when the user open his outlook, he will receive the message).how can I achieve that?please advice me...thank you very much...Systems Specialist

Hi,Thereisnt any way natively in Exchange 2007.You may need to create a script to find newly created mailbox users (in last 24 hours or so) and send standard welcome email message. Schedule this script to run at regular interval (once in a day or so) to automate the process.Otherwiseyou may need to add a step in standard mailbox or user creation process/procedure of your company to send welcome emailmanuallyat the end.
