Hi All,

Is it possible to force Exchange to send a Quota Message for a specific user at any given time, providing they should receive a Quota Warning Notification

I have a test user, in which I have set their mailbox limits so they should receive a Quota Warning notification.

As I am customising  the warning notification, I would like to push the warning to the mailbox to make sure the warning message is correct and the HTML is correct.

I know how to check the message in PowerShell, but this doesnt give me the HTML format, and how it will look inside the users mailbox, and if the hyperlinks work.

The setup is Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010.

By my research, I am sorry that Exchange quota message is Exchange system message, we could customize the text content, but we could not customized their format. In addition, we could not customize the Exchange quota message with specific time.

I have found a way to format the Quota Warning message and test the appearance. I tested the appearance using an online HTML viewer, not by forcing a Quota Warning in exchange, to the users mailbox. This method worked well.

New-SystemMessage -Language EN -QuotaMessageType WarningMailbox -Text "<p>You are approaching the maximum size of your mailbox. Please reduce your mailbox size.</p> <p><u>Please delete any items you don't need from your mailbox and empty your Deleted Items folder.</u></p><p><b>If your mailbox continues to grow, sending emails from your mailbox will be suspended.</p> <p></b>For further help, please read our guide <ahref=https://someserver/HowToDoc.docx>eMail Maintenance Guide</a>."

The Quota Warning suppports HTML.
