Send as multiple email addresses
I have multiple domains & want to be able to send email by either one. For example todd@domaina.com or send mail as todd@domainb.com. Ive worked out how to add multiple email addresses for incoming email on my account but not quite sure how to handle the send issue. when i add the from field in outlook 2007 & just type the email address i get a ndr stating You are not allowed to send this message because you are trying to send on behalf of another sender without permission to do so. Please verify that you are sending on behalf of the correct sender, or ask your system administrator to help you get the required permission. but there is no other user with todd@domainb.com. as an email address, rather i have that email address as one of my income email addresses. thanks in advance

The server will always send using the Default Recipient Policy, regardless of what you type in the From field. There are ways around it, either you created seperate mailboxes, or you give your own useraccount Send on ehalf of permissions. Or have a look at http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/Sending-As.html

Thanks for the response Marc, This is a great article if i was to have multiple user accounts. I dont quite understand how to adjust the permissions if i was to have just 1 user account (preferred) I would ahve thought there was plenty of businesses out there with multiple websites. Regards
