Sending Private Emails with Shared Mailboxes
Exchange 2007 StandardOutlook 2007 SP2Our management team wants to send emails amongst themselves but their assistants have full access to their email accounts through Exchange's Full Access rights. Is there a way to send private emails between their accounts without the assistant's being able to see them? Is there a better way I can do this?

AFAIK, if an user has full mailbox (at the Active Directory Level) access permission, he is able to see all the messages. Therefore, I am afraid that there is no method to prevent the assistants to see messages amongst management team.
Nevertheless, I think that you can grant the assistants permission (MAPI permission) to access some important folders such as Inbox, Calendar and Contact. Then, create a rule to move all messages amongst management team to customize folder which assistants do not have permission.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of. I'd really rather not have to individually modify each person's mailbox so that their assistances can have the access they need. I'm looking into an alternative option by using SharePoint 2007 discussion groups that can more easily be locked down without adversely affecting admin. assistants. The only other option is to give each manager a second email address and I'd like to avoid that at all costs.
