Sending notification on Outlook 2010 (Exchange) mail to non-Outlook account
Note: this question was originally posted in the Outlook 2010 forum but I was asked to move it here. One of my clients has board of directors made up of customers who have a company e-mail address (Exchange) but their primary e-mail is Hotmal, etc. Due to some of the content, the company does not want to send mail directly to the board but via the company e-mail accounts. Some board members are not checking their Outlook web accounts frequently. Is there a way in Outlook 2010 to set up a rule or other notification to the board members when mail is received in their company inbox? Messages can not be forwarded. Thanks in advance!Dawn B

Thanks, but it doesn't work using the "Have the server reply using a specific message" to forward a notification to another email address. I put the email address in the TO: box along with the "new Mail" message in the subject and it does nothing.
