Sent time stamp missing
Hello,
We have a bit of a strange issue on one of our Exchange 2003 SP2 mailbox servers.
When an email is sent from a HTC Desire phone to users on one particular Exchange 2003 server the Sent date\time is missing, see below:
From: User1
Sent: None
To: User2
Subject:
If we move the recipient's mailbox to another of our Exchange 2003 mailbox servers & send the same message it comes through with the data\time stamp as expected. Move the mailbox back to the original server & send
the test message again & the problem reoccurs.
Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Other than if you have some archiving software, I can't see what is causing this.
Could be some AV on this Exch server, try to stop and test. On the effected server try another database on the same server. Might be an issue with the database and not the server? To fix, either create a new DB, move users to another server or rebuild your exch server, depending on what the issue is.
If you want root casue, maybe a call to MS may help. Sukh

Is the sender's mailbox on the same server as the recipients mailbox when this happens?
Which server does the mobile sync with? ( This is activesync yes?)
Both servers patched the same? (Exchange and O/S?)

Hi,
Do you connect to exchange server through active sync from your phone?
1. Please disable mount the affected mailbox database and then remount it.
2. Run
iisreset the restart IIS service.
