Seperating the Database from the Streaming database
Is it ok to have the database on one harddrive and the streaming on another?
I have a 74 gig drive that's running out of space and would like to move the .STM to another empty drive that has room. Just for temp purposes until i get my new SANsolution in.

You can have it on different drives. You may experience some problems
1. In case of disaster recovery, let's assume if .stm file which is on different drive is crashed and not recoverable, then you will not able mount the store. In that case you have only option is Eseutil /p <file name of *.edb> /createstm
2. Also, sometimes there will be delay in content conversion of Internet messages to MAPI/MIME formats.
Not sure what other problems you might face!
Hope this helps you!
