I rebooted my PC today, on which I am evaluating Server 2008, for possible use at work. In any case, I rebooted, and it came up toa change password screen. Okay, cool, no problem... I change the password, but it gives me the following error: "Configuration Information could not be read from the domain controller, either because the machine was unavailable, or access was denied" This is server 2008, basically being used as a workstation. No server roles are installed yet. Am I going to end up reinstalling, and losing everything I have on there?
