Server side client configs
Can anyone tell me if there is a way to add a folder to all mailboxes from the server and to direct certain emails into this folder??
I would hate to have to do it on all clients!!!!!!!
TIA

Hi,
You can use cmdlet "New-MailboxImportRequest" to insert a mail item from a PST into all mailbox's in exchange, this command also will create one new folder in mailbox. you need to create one powershell script which should run for all mailbox's. I did not
test it but i hope this way we can do it.

1. You haven't mentioned what version of exch and clients you are using so can't really say. But in 2010/2007 you can create custom managed folders, or cretae managed folders and move to other folders. Then apply this
to mailboxes. This will move all email once it has arrived into the mailbox and then once the policy has been applied and run. see below.

2. You may be able to use transport rules too to mark messages, then have them moved once they arrive in the mailbox. Combine with Client side rules, which you may be able to deploy with OCT/GPO
