Set-ManagedFolder settings for -BaseFolderOnly
We want to start utilizing the -BaseFolderOnly setting for our MRM Policies. We'd like to start with our Sent Items folders to test. It looks like I need to first create a Managed Content Setting for the Sent Items Folder. Then I need to run Set-ManagedFolder Inbox -BaseFolderOnly $True. Is that correct? Intuitively I thought I should replace 'Inbox' in that string with 'SentItems' but it doesn't appear to work that way. Is 'Inbox' the only option for this?Orange County District Attorney

So this is the cheap response, but, use the EMC and see what it generates for PowerShell commands. This is one of those things that I do once a year so I have no idea how to do it in PS offhand.Active Directory, 4th Edition - www.briandesmond.com/ad4/

You know, that is a great idea! I hadn't thought about trying that. I look at those results screens all day long, with all the Powershell script in them and hadn't thought that here was a case they would help. I did finally figure out that I can replace 'Sent Items' for 'Inbox' and the BaseFolderOnly works perfectly. I left out the quote marks.Orange County District Attorney
