Setting default proofing language in Word 2010 through Group Policy

Hi I need to set default proofing language as English (UK) while leaving the input language as English (US). How do I ensure that all word 2010 applications opened on Windows 7 Workstations  have default proofing language of English (UK)?

Office Version : Professional Plus 2010

Best Regards

Here is a similiar case http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/7df04e3a-5c51-4be7-abd4-7f0aa1c670e0/setting-default-proofing-language-in-word-through-group-policy

Which suggested to apply the following policy:

In the Microsoft Office 2010\Language Settings node.

Select Editing languages, then double-click Primary Editing Language.

Select Enabled option and select English (U.K.) in the Primary Editing Language box.

The solution mentioned above is for Office 2007.  The ADMX templates for 2010 do not have the language settings on there.  I really need a solution for this problem any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I know the solution in the linked post is for Office 2007, but I have also checked the policy settings for Office 2010, and the settings are indeed the same.

Is that the ADM template or the ADMX templates?  When I used the ADMX I could not see a general template for office 2010 just individual templates for each Office program....

Well, both ADM and ADMX include the general template for Office 2010. Please make sure you have also copied the ADML file for Office 2010 into the language-specific folder, for example, en-us

Screenshot: the ADMX template is under Administrative Templates

And, if you mean you cannot find a .admx template for Office 2010, I'd suggest you to download a new copy from Downlaod Center: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=189
