Shared Mail box Calendar Problem
Hi,
i got a problem with one of my shared calendars,
we are in hotel industry. the calendar name is "Groups". 5 of our employees use this calendar. recently there are some organisational changes and some people left the organisation. we have given permissions of this calendar to new recurited employees.
"All CSO Group Mailbox" is a active directory Global security group. who ever the users in that group can access that calendar as we manually entered this group to manage the calendar.
the new sales manager and reservations are included in this group.
every time when they try to open the calendar through: outlook --> calendar --> open a shared calendar --> groups -->
" you do not have permission to view this calendar. Do you want to ask groups to share his or her calendar with you. Yes No"
This message pop's up and who are currently able to see the calendar and getting share request. still when they accept to share the calendar, it is only the user's calendar not the Groups calendar comming to the requesters.
i tried to add them manually to manage the groups mailbox.
no luck.
can some help me in this.

How did you provide access? From outlook? Is the group mail enabled? Only then you can add it from outlook.
This message pop's up and who are currently able to see the calendar and getting share request. still when they accept to share the calendar, it is only the user's calendar not the Groups calendar comming to the requesters.
This is obvious as the user is accepting the request from his own mailbox and not from the Groups mailbox.

Hi,
i provide access from outlook.
the group mail is enabled.
the request for share is comming to the Groups inbox. from that inbox we are sharing the calendar. but when the requester open the calendar it's not the groups.
it's accepting persons calendar.

Have you tried giving any one of the users access to the calendar individually other than through the security group?

Hi,
Yes i tired. I did add both Individually to the Mailbox as full permissions. it is only happening for that two users. i tried to open the shared calendar my self by adding to the security group, i got no problem. i can see the full calendar.

Ok, it appears problem just for those two accounts. To confirm this, can you try giving access to those two users on someone else calendar?

Hi Krisha,
What is the result when you add both Individually to the Mailbox as full permissions, can they open the calendar?
If you give these two accounts permission on that shared mailbox calendar, can they open the calendar?

sorry for late reply,
even i add both individually they can not access the calendar.
this problem is not only for those two accounts. now we got problem with 2 more new employees. it's looks like it was not allowing any more users.
