Shared mailbox problem

Hi all,

Something is bothering me a lot. The story is next : We are acessing our servers trough RDP via VPN, and whole team is working that way. We have Exchange server, and couple of users use couple of adresses (office, support, ecc), and everyone has their copy of that mailbox on remote server users folder ( C:\Users\user\Appdata\Microsoft\outlook or C:\Users\user\My documents), and soon or before server is running out of storage space. Is there any way to redirect their mailboxes, so all can use one ? Maybe I didnt explain it well, but I thihnk its understandable.

You can customize mailbox storage quotas using powershell cmdlets or through EAC. Check out this post  - https://technet.microsoft.com/en-IN/library/aa998353(v=exchg.150).aspx to know more.

Hi Veljko,

What you are taking about is Outlook profiles creating OST. This is how it its even if you use a single shared mailbox and access it using multiple Desktop login\outlook profile there will be a associated OST for each profile.

Hence you can try out Sneff advise for using Outlook in Online mode. Alternate option would be you have single shared user account. However this will limit your ability to concurrently work.

Another option would be advising users to use OWA instead of Outlook.

Or configuring the default location to separate drives as instructed below.
