<Desperate for help, hoping I'm missing an easy answer> On the Exchange 2007/Outlook 2007 platform: We have thousands of external email contacts in a sharepoint database organized into distributions lists which we use for mail outs. Problem is, when we delete a contact, they are not deleted from the distribution lists they were on. Nor can we some how see a list of the distributions lists that a particular contact belongs to. So, we must manually go list to list looking for them to delete them off. A major headache when you have many adjustments every month. There has to be a way to either automatically delete them off, or at least see which lists they are on, yes? HELP PLEASE! I owe you big time...E

Assuming the contact and distribution lists exists in Exchange 2007, in EMC you should be able to go to Recipient Config, Mail Contact, double click the contact to bring up its properties, Member Of tab and see which distribution lists they are a member of.
