Sharepoint and Public Folders
Hello
We use Public Folders in our Exchange 2007 environment to recv email etc. I understand that Sharepoint is the replacement for PF's.
I had some questions -
1. Can SP sites be set to accept email?
2. Is there a tool to migrate PF to SP?
3. Is one SP site the equivalent of one PF?

Your questions are more realted to SP than exch. You should post in the SP forum for in depth questions. -

For mail-enabled public folders, shared mailboxes are often a good replacement. But then make sure it really is a shared mailbox in terms of Exchange. It creates a disabled active directory account to which the mailbox is connected. This type of mailbox
cannot be created with the EMC. You'll have to use PowerShell.
While I like SharePoint a lot, there are mail-enabled public folder scenarios, where shared mailboxes may serve your needs better.
