Should I deploy Exchange 2010 beta?
We do not have Exchange, just using POP/SMTP, small company 80 users. Would running with the beta 2010for productionbea mistake? My thinking is anything is better than what we have today and rather than install 2007 then upgrade later this year when 2010 ships, just run with 2010 now. I have the approval to buy Exchange2007 licenses and hardwareand am lobbying for SA so we can upgrade to 2010, I'd just as soon skip the upgradeYour thoughts?ThanksMike

hi,I think it wont be good idea using exchange server 2010 on your production environmentbecause it is not fully developed yet. but you can use for testing in your organization.you can use exchange 2007 instead of exchange server 2010 beta. it will be more efficiently...regards,Exchange - MVP | www.cozumpark.com | www.mumincicek.com

Exchange 2010 is in beta atm and should not be included in a production site. What you could do is deploy Exchange 2007 for redundency and then when 2010 comes out redeploy one server at a time to 2010 as it will also require x64bit.BP - MCITP:EMA, MCTS

I agree with other two guys.... I never suggest installing Beta version of any software in production because those are still going through development stage & being optimized and may have bugs or limitations, moreover you don't get official support from vendor.
