Simple URL Change Question
I have exchange 2010 working great with OWA/Activesync/Outlook Anywhere. My current internal/external url is exchange.domain.net for all services and single ssl certificate is installed for that. I have a number of activesync clients, outlook anywhere clients that are pointing to exchange.domain.net from initial autodiscover. If I want to change exchange.domain.net to exchange.domain.com I would modify all internal/external URL and purchase new SSL cert. My question is though, will all clients get the url auto updated and communicate on the new url?

If Autodiscover is working in your enviroment, the outlook profile will get the new settings and start using them in an hour or so. The settings on the mobile devices will need to be updated manually. Only new EAS Partnership will start to use the new setting for ActiveSync.Martina Miskovic
