Some Exchange cmdlets don't work on the second Exchange server

Hello!

Some cmdlets such as Get-Group, Get-GlobalAddressList output nothing when run on my second Exchange (CAS/MB) server:

They work as expected on Exch1. Exch2 does not have any issues either with its CAS or MB roles. No errors are generated in the EventLog when I run those cmdlets.

What could be the cause of this issue?

Thank you in advance,

Michael

Hi Fatih,

Yes, I did write the commands explicitly, not using TAB-completion.

When you tab it, does the cmdlet completes itself?

Yes, it completes... And after auto-completing works perfect... Why???

Close the Shell and open by running as administrator.

Does it connect to one of the Exchange servers without any issues?

If so, can you try a cmdlet that should bring something back like Get-ExchangeServer or Test-ServiceHealth?

"Close the Shell and open by running as administrator." - I'm already running it as Administrator.

Now these commands work on Exch2 too:

Looks as if they started working as soon as I used TAB for a first time... Weird...

Thank you very much for your help, Rajith, Fatih !

Regards,

Michael
