Some email does not arrive?
Mostly for one user. The user runs Outlook 2010 I have deleted the outlook profile at her desk and rebuilt it and that did not help. Today she called and said she has to use her gmail account some times and said she just cc'ed herself on a email that was
in her gmail account to her exchange account and it never arrived? I had her try and forward me the same email and it never arrived to me. I had her send a test email to both her and I from her gamil account and it arrived? I don't see them in the
logs.
We have Exchange 2007 running on server 2003 R2 SP2 X64.

Could it be authentication on the default Receive connector? I have only
Integrated Windows authentication checked should I also check Exchange Server authentication?

If that's the Receive Connector you use to accept mail from the
Internet you have to allow anonymous connections.

Hi Ptex,
From your description, I understand that she cannot use Gmail account to send email to herself and you (on Exchange Server), right?
When you check the smtp logs, can you see the records for she?
Did she get NDR in her Gmail account?
If I misunderstand on you, please explain your problem more clearly.

She can send some email from her gmail account but can't forward or cc to her exchange account. She also complains that she never gets some email at all from from out side the domain. She never gets a NDR neither does the people sending
email that she never gets. I don't have smtp logging enabled.

Hello,
Can she send email directly to her Exchange account?
Since she didn't get NDR, and not find the email in her exchange account, I think we need enable smtp logging to check whether this email has been sent to your Exchange server.

If the message isn't in the message tracking log files then it may
just be getting dropped by whatever anti-spam you're running on the HT
server.

When you try to track the message, what criterion are you using?
The message-id is:
185159227.3150.1344948072583.JavaMail.wlsmcapp@obsneacezap16.odc.vzwcorp.com
Did you check the FPE agent log?
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Forefront Protection for Exchange
Server\Data\FSEAgentLog
Are you using Cloudmark (i.e. FPE's Anti-Spam engine)? If so, what are
the SCL Thresholds and Actions ?

Looking at the name of your connector, I have to ask if you're using a
hosting service?

If you are, have you engaged them in this search for the message?
