I am using Outlook 2013 and most emails are displayed in a very narrow panel. They display and print like a long column in a newspaper. It is only about 20% of the screen width. Opening the same email in Outlook 2007 looks fine and takes up about 60% of the screen width. How can I tell Outlook 2013 to use more of the screen? Any help would be appreciated.
Hi,
How did you view these emails? Did you view them in reading pane or open then in a separate window?
Would you please provide a screenshot to us so that we can understand the issue more clearly?
Have you tried resetting the views of your Outlook? Press Windows key + R to open the Run command, type outlook /cleanviews and press Enter.
Please let me know the result.

I have the same issue.Pretty much every email that was designed to be enclosed in a 600px box is being squeezed to a 200px wide box. This happens to emails from major companies such as paypal, amazon, etc.
This happens on outlook 2013 Win 10
Same messages are fine on outlook 2007
