Any chance this email could be going to the Junk Mail folder for the users? Noother rule in place that might be deleting or moving it?
Maybe try searching from the Top of Information Store downwards for one of the affected users and see if it appears somewhere within the mailbox.

Hi Tony,
Thanks a lot for your reply.
I did try to trace from the Mail server down to user's mailbox, and checked the junk email setting (if set to delete immediately). Iwas not able locate the mail.
So, i called up the external sender, to add my email address in the recipient's list, as well as my Google email address. They sent the daily email again but my company mailbox didn't receive (although the Tracking log shown it delivered locally to my mailbox), but my google mailbox able to receive.
Also, i did turn on the 'Archive all messages sent or received by all mailboxes on this store' to archive@bms.com.sg, but this mailbox also didn't receive that particular email.
Now my Exchange server having problem to receive 2 emails.
1 email, sent fromone of company vendoron weekly, with attachment inPDF format.
another 1 email, sent from company Sub-con on daily, with attachment inExcel format.
2 of these emails are sent out to many of recipients.
I am wondering, is it because of the Exchange setting for the mail format? or somewhere that i configured wrongly? or can log a case to Microsoft support team?

I'm seeing pretty much the same issue. all logs say that the email was delivered, but the user never receives it, yet 10 mins later you can send the same email and the user gets it!I also have this issue with internal emails sent to all staff. its very frustrating

1. The only person who receives the email is also on the same Exchange Server / SG / Mailbox Store ?
2. For the rest of the gang who do not receive this email :
a. Do they receive other external emails ?
b. Have you tried sending same excelattachment from a different source (may be from your gmail account) ?

1. I have only one Exchanger server with one mailbox store.
2 a). The rest are able to receive external emails.
2 b). I had tried to send from my gmail account with the same excel attachment to my Exchange server.. all the purchasers able to receive. I also requested the external sender to use her colleague email to send to my exchange server, all the purchasers also able to receive.

Sejeng,Did you ever solve this, I'm experiencing the very same thing. I can see: "Messaged delivered locally to store to user@company.com" but the user don't get the mail, not in Outlook 2003, 2007 or in OWA. Gone..Thanks,Anders

we ended up solving this issue, by "hard coding" the expansion server for the Distribution groups. It seems that when it was set to automatically work it out for its self, it would fail. hope this helps

sorry to post links from other sites, but after we uninstalled this patch:

everything is now delivered and we're back in business
hope that helps
