Strange Public Folder issue
I have set up a Public Folder in Exchange 2003 (SP2). It contains a number of Email Messages that we have set up as Templates to be sent to our Customers. Everyone used to have full access to it, but email messages would disappear because staff would not forward the message. They would open the message and send it on, which would move it from the public folder.
In an attempt to stop this from happening, I changed the permissions so that everyone has just Reviewer permissions. Default = Reviewer, Anonymous = Reviewer.
Now everyone can still access the emails but they must forward them to be able to send them.
The problem I have is that usersreceive an error message that says "You do not have sufficient permissions to perform this operation on this object. See the folder contact or the system administrator" when they attempt to forward the email.
In further testing of this, even though the users receive the error (intermittently) it seems that the email is still forwarded anyway.
Has anyone had this sort of problem before? Can anyone make suggestions to prevent the error from coming up?
Thanks in advance!
