Strange meeting time issue
hello there
We have Exchange 2003 SP2 and are experiencing strange time issues on meeting appointments sent to client of ours. We are both in the GMT+2 Harare, Preotria time zone. The following scenarios are occuring:
1. Send meeting request from Outlook, recipient recieves it as 1hr early
2. Send meeting request from Outlook to any other external recipient works 100%
3. Send meeting request from OWA, recipient recieves it 100% correct.
4. Client only has issues with meeting requests from us
5. Not all their users are experiencing this issue
Thanks

Ok.... on the server side, I have 1 front end + bridgehead (FE) 2003 EX server and a dozen backend (BE) servers 2003 EX, all but one BE server are patched with the DST hotfix, would this cause the problem with users even if they sit on
a patched BE server?
How do I verify DST settings? on the servers or client?
The fact that this works thru OWA but not Outlook makes me suspect is client related?
Being in South Africa and not in a DST zone, do we still need to install the DST patches / settings? (patches installed before my time)?
Thanks :)Stephane Favre

It's probably a client-side issue, but I can't tell you that for sure. Yes, OWA looking right while Outlook doesn't certainly is evidence supporting a client issue. I don't know whether the DST patches apply to SA or not since I don't support
anything there, sorry.Ed Crowley MVP "There are seldom good technological solutions to behavioral problems."
