I share files with a business partner via DropBox. Word files are great because if one of us has the Word doc open, we see the temp Word file (~*.docx) in the DropBox folder. We obviously don't then open the file.
Excel however works differently and the temp Excel file is on my hard drive in the Temp folder.
How do I force Excel on that particular file to open the temp file in the home folder of the file, i.e. in DropBox (so that my partner know I am working on the file) ?
