Time intelligence
Let' say that I have sales data on three days: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, and I want to display day to day percent growth using time intelligence. what time intelligence does is that it creates percent growth between Monday and Tuesday and between Tuesday and Wednesday, it does it statically so that if I put a filter on the dashboard and I want to select only Monday and Wednesday, it does not give me the percent growth between the selected filter which is between Monday and Wednesday, instead, It is giving me a percent growth between Monday and Tuesday. I want to find a way so that I can do Time intelligence dynamically, that means when I select two days using a filter on a dashboard, it will give me the percent growth between those two days, but not giving me static percent growth only between the date and it its previous calendar date.

You cannot connect 2 Time filters to a Scorecard. So you will not be able to create what you looking in a Scorecard.

You may be able to do this using a Analytics chart or grid, by attaching 2 Time filters with the chart. Then getting the 2 Measure values with respect to each time specified. Finally using both values to get the percentage growth.

Hi Umair,

I appreciate your answer,

I can create only one filter with multiple selection instead of two filters, but my question is after I get the two Measure values with respect to each time specified in the filter, how do I calculate the percentage growth based on those two selected values and display the percent growth in the analytic grid, Can I define a new custom column in the analytic grid based on the percent growth of those two values ? Can I do it using a member function in the MDX script ?, I appreciate your help.
