I was curious to know if anyone has used Attachmetric (www.attachmetric.com) to track attachments in Outlook

Attachmetric not only tracks is an attachment has been opened but also tracks weblinks. The file size can be any size upto 1Gb. We use it all the time in our sales team. We tried developing it ourselves but it was difficult to cover all the versions of Outlook. Seems to work well on 2003,2007 and 2010. We are going to start using it for Bulk mailings soon but are worried that it may fill up the Exchange server.

Everyone in my company now uses Attachmetric and have found it an essential tool to improve work flow and efficiency You send an email with an attachment and you get a notification when it's opened...genius! I strongly recommend it!

Just started using it, but very useful to know that's what's being sent is actually being read, or if not I can follow up with a call to find out why not. Very easy to install and decide which e-amils to track and which not.

It also runs on Exchange server. A new version is being developed that also tracks if an emails as been opened and then read.
