Troubleshooting Outlook 2007 and Roaming Profiles
I have an environment with 40+ employees and have been using roaming profiles for over 2 years. I have had Exchange 2003 set up in this environment for over a year while using Outlook 2003 or older without having any issues with synchronization of the profiles or the Outlook settings. Now, I have installed Outlook 2007 on a few computers and the roaming profiles are causing issues on those computers. It is synchronizing everything but the Outlook settings. By this I mean that everytime a user logs onto the computer, first time or not, Outlook displays a message that it is preparing Outlook for the first use. This wouldn't be an issue as Outlook 2007 autoconfigures when using Exchange but it continues to update all the items in all the folders and subfolders. Has anyone else had this issue and have you found a resolution?
Thank you in advance

Hi,
We need to clarify the issue.
Does Outlook keep updating with Exchange when you open outlook first time or each time when you open?
What is the status of Outlook when it is updating with Exchange? Sync with Exchange or retrieve data?
What is the mode that you use with Outlook 2007,online mode or cache mode?
Best regards,
