Trust between domains
Hi,
We are on Exchange Server 2007 which is hosted off our premises. And our partner company also has an account with the same service provider. But the provider says that if we are on different accounts with them, the Exchange Sharing &
Collaboration features cannot be used between two of our (our's and our partner's) domains.
I want to know if there are any possible ways of sharing and collaborating between our users (like Sharing of Calendars) in this scenario, i.e. both are using Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, but have different domains.
Many thanks for your help !
Regards

Hi,
You can synchronize free/busy information across forests and use it to schedule meetings, but you cannot use the Open Other User's Folder
feature in Microsoft Office Outlook to view the calendar details for a user in another forest”
----------Synchronizing Multiple Exchange
2003 Forests
For opening the calendar in another forest, the following is the options I know:
·
Exchange 2010’s new feature,
Federation can easily share the calendar cross the forests
·
You can use the linked mailbox to open the calendar in another forest
·
If you are using outlook 2007, the calendar can be published to internet, and then share to person in another company, but with read-only permission
