Trying to rejoin exchange 2003 to a domain
Hi There:
I had to unjoin an exchange server 2003 (member server) from a W2003 native domain and I need to rejoin it . I deleted the object under computers in ADUC and in asdiedt then tried to rejoin it. It took so long the first time that I reset the machine
account. I unjoined it rebooted and attempted to rejoin. It is now going on 3 hours, and it just sits there withe the "Applying Computer Settings" message. I know there must be mis-matched SIDS, but at this point I am unsure exactly what I should do.
Help would be appreciated. Thanks

I had same instance, not rejoining, just restarting exchange server, my exchange hung for about 45 minuts, I just pressed ALT + Ctrl +Del
this fixed my issue and came back with login menu, I am not sure this might have fixed, follow the link for to look for otherside of the mirror
