Two Exchange Servers in same domain
We are planning to deploy two Exchange Servers in the same domain in two different locations. Each location will have it's own mailbox store. There will be no replication between the two sites. If this architecture is chosen, what will, if anything, get shared between the two? Will centralized Calendaring and the Global Address List be accessible to both sites? Thanks in advance for the info.

Hi,
assuming that you know that these exchange servers (mailbox servers) will be under same exchange organization, since active directory forest supports only one exchange organization. so in your case, when you deploy two mailbox servers under this organization, sure they will share the same GAL, and the same centralizing calendaring. each exchange server will have its own database and its own mailboxes and users as well.
question, what do you mean by there is no replication between the two sites ? is there any network connectivity between these two sites ? if there is no connectivity , then how these two sites are under the same domain ? can you please explain more about your network connectivity between the two sites ?
if the above answer helped you in answering your question, please rate this post.
