Unable to Mount Restored Exchange 2003 Mailboxes
The original Exchanged Server malfunctioned and we had to re-install Windows Server and Exchange Server on a new machine. We restored mExchange Mailboxes from Tape usung CA ArcServe.
Although the restore from tape was successful, We are unable to mount mailboxes and we get " An internal processing error occurred" with ID no: 1041724.
Your help is appreciated.

Hi Ed,
1.We built a Server from scatch, Installing Windows Server 2003 and exchange Server 2003, using the same name for the Server and mailbox as the original server.
2. Restored Exchange from Tapes using ArcServe (Computer associates Backup and Restore Software) into the same location.
We are now not able to mount exchange and Public mailboxes.

No, we used tape backup software to retore the exchange data.
If you Google that ID no, you will see the issue that we have.

@Guido
Are there any events in event viewer?
When you performed a restore, was this for a full backup? incremental etc...?
Did you select the Last Backup Set check box during the restore process?
