Having probs with an old Exchange 5.5 server. When I try to log in to the Exchange management console, I get an "Unable to connect to server..D_S Comm problem" message. Any ideas? Would a re-install fix it?

I assume you mean Exchange Administrator (for 5.5) ? That error is what you get if the services aren't running or responding. Check the Exchange Directory Service... wellcheckall the Exchangeservices really.
