Unable to move mailbox

Hello,

I am using Exch 2k10 SP3 RU6.  We are migrating mailboxes to new databases, and from 4000+ mailboxes some of them fail.

The error message is like this:

{MapiExceptionNoAccess: Unable to query table rows. (hr=0x80070005, ec=-2147024891)

All mailboxes has the same error message, only affected folder can be different.

So far, only fix seems to be export mailbox to PST, recreate mailbox, import data back.  I would like to find another fix though ..

It seems that since rollup 6 of Exchange 2010 SP3, the MAPI property PR_DISPLAY_TO is not correctly supported when specifying the column list for the contents table.

Above mentioned reference looks a good start-up to understand this concern.

Moreover, while need to move users mailboxes from old database to new one, you may give a shot to this automated solution(http://www.exchangemigrationtool.com/) that could be an appropriate solution for you.

.. not solving this issue from me.

Removing  PR_DISPLAY_TO has no effect on this.   Other post suggest completely removing the affected folder, which worked for me once.

I removed DRAFTS folder via MFCMAPI and recreated it with ourlook.exe /resetfolders, then i was able to move mailbox without error.

Second mailbox with this issue, i did the same steps, removed Drafts folder, but instead of fixing the problm it just moved to another folder (Sent Items).

Hi,

From your description, the issue should be related to the Draft folder corruption. I recommend you use the following cmdlet to repair these problematic mailboxes and continue the migration to check the result.

New-MailboxRepairRequest -Database xxx -CorruptionType AggregateCounts

Hope this can be helpful to you.

Best regards,

Hi,
i already tryed mailboxrepairrequests. It didnt work.

.. maybe i do some wrong steps with MFCMAPI and removing PR_DISPLAY_TO , because after checking the value again (after restarting MFCMAPI) its still there.

So far, after many attempts to resolve this, I gave up and exported mailbox to PST, deleted mailbox, created new one, imported PST.   And added X500 address - to get rid of NDR messages couse of new mailbox legacyExchangeDN.
