In SSMS I right-click Database and select RESTORE. In Restore Database window I enter: Backup file: I click browse and thenselect: c:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\100\Tools\Samples\ and enter AdventureWorksDW2008.bak In Restore Target: AdventureWorkdsDW2008 Storage location: same as before Click OK I get error and it seems that the reason is that the extension 'abf' is added to the end of my .bak file, making it: AdventureWorksDW2008.bak.abf and error saying 'my file is damaged or is not an AS backup file. and 'system cannot find the file specified' Any help appreciated.
