Unable to return mailbox results using ExFolders

Hi,

We are currently using an Exchange 2010 SP3 deployment, however I can no longer find a topic for that.

When trying to connect to any of our mailbox databases using ExFolders I receive the following message:

Exception getting folder contents: GetProperties was called with null ID

I have turned on logging but nothing is returned.

I have copied the .exe to the \Bin folder and imported the .reg file on the Exchange server that is running the Exchange Active Directory Topology service.  I have also tried running the application as Administrator, still no luck.

My account has Organisational Administrator and Domain Administrator privledges.  Both RTM and SP1 version display the same error.

Cheers!

to narrow down this issue, could you please give your account or service account to full access on one mailbox database and try to connect?

Hi John,

Thank you for your reply, my account already has full access to each mailbox database.

Looking under the subfolders tab I see the following error:

Error reading properties from mailbox object (LDAP filer and Mailbox Name).  Ensure this object is mailbox enabled and has the mail, mailnickname, a

I assume that 'a' means alias, but I have checked ADSI and all of these properties have a value and the mailbox is mail enabled.  For each MDB it's a different mailbox.

Interestingly enough, out of the 20 MDB's that exist in our organisation I have one that does populate a list of mailboxes.  However when I expand a mailbox I get the following error:

Error method not found: 'Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.ExchangePrincipal Microsoft.Exchange.Data Storage.ExchangePrincipal.FromLegacyDN(System.String, Boolean).

Cheers!

Hi John,

Sorry for the late response I have been out of the office.  It was the latest version of exfolders I was using, however the operation I was going to use ExFolders for is no longer required.  I appreciate your time responing to my previous replies.

Cheers
