"I am able to add a child domain by adding new Recipient policy but unable to create a user with the id anup@xyz.com" <- This is because you need to add UPN Suffix to see xyz.com into Account Tab of user. HOW TO: Add UPN Suffixes to a Forest http://support.microsoft.com/kb/243629 Once you have user id created with xyz UPN siffix then you will be able to create user with anup@xyz.com but make sure that Email Address Policy is correctly stamping the SMTP address of that user anup@xyz.com to receive email for xyz domain... Hi, So you need to received emails are sent to anup@xyz.com with account anup@abc.com? If you only need this, all you need to do is to configure an additional domain for Exchange, check the following article for detail steps if you're using Exchange 2007. http://www.messagingtalk.org/configuring-exchange-2007-accept-email-additional-domain Thanks, Elvis
