I am unable to use my trial version of microsoft office 365 can you help me or should I go back to where my HP laptop was purchased.

I keep getting a message 0xc004e01c.  Need your assistance.

Does this trial version of Office 365 come along with your laptop? Could you please share the complete error message with us? At what exact point will you get this error?

As per the research, some other forum members reported that repairing Office from Control Panel will fix the error (0xc004e01c) for them.

So as an initial troubleshooting step, I would suggest you go ahead to repair Office from Control Panel, and see if it also works for you:
