Hi! Please help me to find an issue. I just migrated Exchange 2003 to exchange 2010. 2003 still online, but all users on 2010. Users use Outlook 2010. One user before migration had in TO field Undisclosed recipient when email sent to BCC. After move to Exchange 2010 if email sent to BCC he has TO field empty. He demand that TO field has to be populated with Undisclosed recipient. According Microsoft when email sent to BCC, TO field has to be populated with Undisclosed recipient. Thank you

My users are able to populate only the BCC field, leave TO empty and send messages (Exchange 2007, Outlook 2007 and 2010). Otherwise, I'm not sure I understand. If you were sending to a group of people, why would the undisclosed recipient be included in the TO field? They would no longer be "undisclosed". If by undisclosed you mean that other recipients cannot see them?Please mark as helpful if you find my contribution useful or as an answer if it does answer your question. On received email in TO field I see "Undisclosed recipent" User on Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010. Email sent to BCC. On received email in To filed I see nothing Blank. Could you explain your problem in detail? Do you mean that user use Bcc to send email, the recipient can see BCC user in To field in Exchange 2003, but cannot see in Exchange 2010? I use OWA to test in Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2010, I didnt see the issue your described. Hi! External user uses BCC to send email. Recipient on Exchnage 2010 does not see in BBB anything. All good here, but TO field is BLANK. If recipient on Exchange 2003 server, he does not see anything in BCC. All good here as well, but in TO field he sees Undisclosed recipients. Thank you

Hello mambal, I checked in my lab: External Sever: Exchange 2010 SP2 Test Server: Exchange 2003 SP2 Exchange 2010 SP2 (These two Servers are in the same domain) In my tests, only email (send from external Server and only Send BCC), you will see Undisclosed recipients in To field on Exchange 2003. BCC and To fields are blank in Exchange 2010. When you send BCC emails on Exchange 2003 or Exchange 2010 (in the same domain), the BCC and To fields are blank as that in Exchange 2010. Hi, Evan! Thank you for update. This is really interesting. I cannot find any reference from microsoft why it does not work. Only one thing I found that when send BCC , Undisclosed recipients automaticaly addedd to TO field.
