Uninstallation reports messages in queue... but what queue?
I'm upgrading an Exchange 2007 server to Exch 2010, most of the problems I've had so far have been with migrating the Public Folders, but that's another story entirely. Right now I'm wanting to uninstall the Hub Transport role, so I selected that option during setup, and I get this error: "Warning: There are 5 messages waiting in the 'MAILSERVER\11' queue. Proceeding with the removal of the server role may result in data loss." Oo-er! The thing is, I opened the Exchange Queue viewer and I can't find any queue called '11', furthermore none of the file-based directories (like Pickup) contain any messages. What's going on?

There should be a folder called 11. specifically c:\program files.....\transport roles...or at queue folder where you have specified a path. also try to catch the string in the exchangeserversetup logs as also event viewer if there is any event .

Any update on this issue? Stop Transport service and delete the files in the queue? Khoj provided the path to it Jonas Andersson MCTS: Microsoft Exchange Server 2007/2010 | MCITP: EMA 2007/2010 | MCSE/MCSA Blog: http://www.testlabs.se/blog
