Unsupported Exchange 2007 Environment?
I've read the release notes for Exchange server 2007 SP3, but i'm still unsure if i just built an unsupported exchange server.
I started with a fresh installation of windows server 2008 R2
then installed Exchange server 2007 SP1
then installed SP3
I didn't generate any errors other than i had to install sp3 from the command line
Do i have a supported server or do i have to start over with a windows server 2008?
The reason i'm not installing Exchange Server 2007 SP3 from the start is i don't have the media available, just sp1.
Thank you

So long as it is at SP3 you will be fine, if you had installation issues with the SP1 media then you would have not been able to get support but so non installation support you should be fine.Matt Cline - MCSE+M, MCITP: EA | EMA (2007, 2010) | Lync 2010 Blog: exchangeadventures.com

Hi,
This should be no problem. Because you are on a SP3 installation you will have an supported configuration.

Hi,
First of all, Exchange 2007 sp1 is not supported on Windows server 2008 R2.
It may work in your scenario but I would still suggest uninstall Exchange 2007 on the Windows 2008 R2 then reinstall it.Frank Wang
