Updating an Exchange 2007 CCR Geo Cluster
With the release of SP3 for Exchange 2007 I wanted to update my CCR cluster. I know to install the update first on the passive node. However my question is what does everyone do before they start the update on the passive node in terms of CCR replication? Do you first suspend replication before starting on the passive node? Then when the update is finished restart replication, wait awhile for the passive node to catch up and then failover to the other node. What do most Exchange admins do?

Hi, You don’t need to suspend the replication. Please refer to the article provided by Shafaquat, it lists the detail steps. Thanks, Elvis
