Upgrade Licencing
Dead simple question this but one I am struggling to find a definitveanswer to it anywhere. I have just asked my re-seller to provide a quote for upgrading our copy of Small Business Server 2000 to Small Business Server 2003 Premium. They have come back to me with a price that includes a full retail version of SBS 2003 as they say because our current set up is running an OEM version of SBS 2000 we do not qualify for upgrade pricing. Is this correct? If anybody has a definitve answer to this I would be grateful as I have never heard of not being able to upgrade OEM before.
Cheers

I would not be inclined to believe that. Here you'll see the price is $699. You'll also notice there are disclaimers at the bottom, and no mention of OEM being an issue.

Having said that, be aware that SBS 2008 is right around the corner...
