Upgrading to CU8

I inherited a Exchange 2013 server running version 15.0.712.4012. Can I go straight to CU8 or do I need to install a previous CU first?

You can go straight to the latest one as it is cumulative.

Thanks. Do I need to extend the AD schema each time a CU is released if I am just doing a upgrade?
