User Contact Detail Changes
Hi,
We are using Exchange 2007 and currently have to chnage all users details on their behalf. I am lead to believe there is a Web Interface within Exchange that can be enabled so the users can change thier details themselves? Anyone that can help is much appreciated.
Cheers

The interface that you are talking about is Exchange 2010 feature, not Exchange 2007.
There are third party tools that can provide an interface for you.

Sigh... another tool for the IT administrator - NOT THE END USER.
Try reading the original question and not just posting the first result that comes up in Google.

i never seen any orgnisation give there users rights to edit there details.
Best and simple way to do it. assign the delegates to AD and they will modify the things. These are L1 Tasks which can be managed by heldeskAbhi

Just because you haven't seen it doesn't mean it doesn't happen or that it is a bad idea.
The GALMOD replacement tools that are available make it very easy, and if you are supporting a site with 1000s of users, you don't want to be doing routine sutff like updating an end-users phone number etc. These tools don't allow users to change email addresses
and other AD stuff, just the things that end users usually update in other products, like phone numbers.

Simon is correct.
The Global Address List Modify enables users to modify the personal information that is displayed in the user properties of the Exchange Server global address list.

I haven't used any to make a recommendation.
If you search for GALMOD or GALMOD alternative, many of them are marketed as a replacement. GALMOD was a Microsoft tool for Exchange 2003 which allowed a user to modify the details. However in this web enabled world, an application isn't really very popular.

I am sure ADmodify can modify account attribute.
Here is something about using ADmodify.

And I think, development forum could give more help.

AD Modify isn't a suitable tool. The OP asked for something that the end users can use - I hardly think that a complex server side tool like admodify fits the criteria. Try reading the original question!
