User has duplicate Calendar items
Hello
We have recently moved some people to Exchange 2010 from 2007.
One of them is saying that she is getting duplicate Calendar entries in her mailbox which makes it really hard to work with. Initially, we thought it was an issue with cached mode/OST file, so we switched her to Online, but she is still getting this issue.
Same happens in OWA.
Does anyone know a good way to:
i. Remove the duplicates
ii. Stop this happening again

There's no "good" way to do this. You can restore a backup to a
recovery storage group and then remove all the items from the calendar
in the active mailbox and them replace them with the items in the
mailbox you restored -- but that loses the meetings/appointments made
since the backup. So maybe sort the appointments by data and remove
only those prior to the onset of the problem and then replace the same
date range from the restored mailbox. Otherwise it's a manual task to
manage this.

Is there a mobile device acting on the calendar? Some other client
that's possibly "echoing" the appontments back to the Exchange server?

If the duplicates were created all at once, then the easy way to remove them is to use the "Created" date.
Change the view in the calendar to Category/List View and then add the field "Created". The duplicated contacts will have the same creation date.
